I was 7/4 7/3. And was going broke, changed to national and went broke, insurance for family was over 164 a week. Left last week, and made more money worked less and was home every night. Roehl worked me and I worked them, fair trade.

Wow 164 a week for family? May have to shop for some other insurance. As far as going broke, how much were you bringing home Dd64061? The website says about 860 a week before taxes for the 7/7, which I know it is probably a bit less.

It was about that but I ran my ### off. The miles averaged 2500 or so it seems they would run to 2300 then slow down the rest of the week to manage the miles I drove. many times I had 1900 in 4 days then the rest were 300 mile days.
in the end what they were paying wasn't worth the price to me or my family.
ive talked to many 7/7 drivers, many are with them for this alone if the program drops then they are gone, most don't really need a steady check but need to stay busy away from home

Well if the insurance is 164 a week for family thats over 600 a month which means I would be lucky to bring home 500 a month driving for 2 weeks a month. I may have to look into a different idea, I will be getting a pension but still need income. If you don;t mind me asking, who are you driving for now (or just send me a pm) thanks.

What do you normally haul as a northeast regional driver.

I am planning on joining Roehl in a couple of weeks and going for Regional NE.

Just curious: where do you live? And how is Roehl with home time?

Their program is not really set up for teams. Don't even think they will hire teams. Solos some weeks struggle to get 2500 miles.

When I was there, most 7/7's were around 3,000 miles a week. I switched to 7/7 and only ran it one week since I got a local job, but I got over 3,200 miles. Most guys that were doing it didn't need much cash, most seemed to live a simple life. Most made between 31-34 k a year.
