I bet someone heard half the story. 5 or 6 years ago Pilot bought Flying J. 4 or 5 years ago TA bought Petro.

No one has bought any of the aforementioned brands nor have there been any announcements in the last 6 months.

 

I think it is highly unlikely simply because approval from the feds would be necessary. And if you recall all the hoops Peelot had to jump thru to take over the Flying hook brand. So a mega-mega truck stop franchise encompassing 4 of the largest chains would most likely be denied by the feds. However, it would be nice if they all used the same rewards card so I could stop at the closest truck stop to my customer AND use my shower credits regardless of which franchise I bought fuel at.

 

At least Speedway bought Wilco

 

In today's race @ Talladega, the PFJ car took out the Love's car in a rather exciting manner...
