Look at the bright side...we are truck drivers we aren't expected to really sleep anyway

 

Last time I tried to park there I ended up driving out to that TA on 80. It was packed at like 3pm

 

Lol, they piss off a bunch of bobtails to open one or two spots, sounds like management is pretty bright! I guess make sure you drag a trailer there next time since they obviously think you have to be under a load to get your sleep, I haven’t stopped at a truck stop in that area since the 90's and it was hard to find parking then!

 

I'm confused. They woke you up ? What's wrong with moving to help a fellow trucker with a trailer park. Especially if you're not in the designated area.

 

Sapp Brothers has a pretty good sized bobtail lot as I recall, even dedicated bobtail idle air spots.

 

That's the way I took it, too. They woke me up because I'm in the wrong place and somebody entitled to the spot needs it. I'd say if you don't want to be awakened, don't park in the wrong place.

 

I cant stand driving around looking for parking when dumb dumb takes up a full spot while bob tailing.
