So another question for the Cat guys: What's the best RPM to run these old 3406's (A and B) for best fuel mileage? Considering that the A is a fuel pig anyways.

My solid 30 minutes of effort today:
Took out the stereo bracket, horn lines/valve, fan, wig wag and all the wiring in the roof. Just have to finish up a couple things in the dash and its fully gutted. -
Was messing around with the truck again today. Noticed these 2 bolts inline with the cab rivets along the door jam. Would I be correct in saying these were used for a grab handle originally?

It's possible, but they're awfully close to that raised portion.
