Very interesting inputs on this thread. SNI is one of the better options out there compared to the many that will put a driver in the poor house. But many as mentioned do sit in a different situation and not looking to make big money or they think that bringing home $800.00 after expenses is a huge amount for them. If your single great if your married or getting married make sure you have complete support because if you don't it will not work. Unless she helps you with your ventures. Be frugal with your money, find your comfort zone and stick to it, don't think like a truck driver rather a business man.

I have family in Phoenix and get my truck work done there sometimes at Phoenix Freightliner. I live in Southern Ca, and know how to run the AZ, CA and western area. It's a challenge, but doable ..Southern Ca is the mother load for higher paying loads that will make up for the cheap loads out of your area. Really depends on how money you want to make .. Congrats on your move to SNI! Note: Doesn't mean I prefer to run out there..Most of the time you will find me in the Midwest, South and East..: )

 

Not 1 of us on here can make you succeed or fail that's totally on you.

My needs are different than everyone else's on here as are yours.

Take everything you read with a grain of salt. We do run the board but the board is constantly changing.

Some say they never haul cheap freight and to that I say BS. But I say that because to one cheap freight is different to the next.

As long as you remember it's a business not a job and don't just spend spend spend it can be done. But it does take discipline and being flexible.
