What's the freight like in Oklahoma City in and out??

 

How's the freight in and out in Oklahoma City??

 

It varies...rates are ok..not great leaving but pretty decent coming...

 

I live in okc was wondering if rates are over 1.25 a mile on choice in and out @minimal?

 

In and around Oklahoma City the rates are generally around a dollar a mile but going to Oklahoma City the rates can be anywhere from about $1.50 a mile to $2 a mile Plus depending on from where it's coming from... I run a lot of Oklahoma which includes Ardmore and Tulsa area and Muskogee and all that... With that being said the rates can fluctuate and they have been

 

OKC... Sucks.

 

What are consistently good areas for freight rates?

As a couple have mentioned, and I had seen at my last company running percentage as a company driver, think of the areas you hate driving as a company driver. A lot of those, if van is consistent with reefer, are the areas that will pay

 

Nobody wants to be a jerk and not tell you where the good areas are, but with as many ICs as are out there these days, you'll have to pardon a lot of us for keeping our best spots more or less out of the public eye. That said, after enough searches, you'll find them. Cast your net far.
