Still horrible. If you're not making 1,200-1,700 as a company driver on a regular basis there's a problem.

I think it would be best to look elsewhere, you have a lot of responsibility hauling chemicals with little monetary gain. Miles average about 1800 a week, normally lower, however did have a good week of over 2000 once. If they initiate the choice board for tanker lease program operators company drivers can kiss the easy loads goodbye (drop and hook, customer unloads). However, the company is great, DBLs/DMs good people, other bulk drivers are excellent willing to help out, friendly and with the Quala Washes, drop yards and OCs parking is a little less stressful......(I've been with them a short time so my two cents) Hell I'm thinking about going to prime, sounds like they get more miles and haul food grade products....

No wonder they are constantly advertising on Memphis CL. I don't see how they keep anybody.

Rumors about choice on the bulk side have been around for years....
-
Some have posted that it started a month or so ago. Can't imagine it being much if the loads are that scarce.

They are still hiring like mad, at least in Gary. I did a 34 there last week and there was probably 7 new trainees in there for bulk. With your experience, you have a tremendous playing field. Pm Chinatown, he might be able to steer you towards somewhere lucritive
