Wife's son, my stepson was at that competition. Luckily not hurt. Not a lot of details as of yet.

Couple of concussions and some minor injuries most just taken in for evaluation

Not the kind of thing you want to get a local news alert about when you haven't been notified yet but that's the way it went down

Seems #### always happens when it's not their weekend here lol

 

I noticed that the article stated the truck had backed into the overhang, but from the pix, it looked like it was driven forward into it. Rental trucks, like rental motor homes are just plain problematical.

 

Anything bigger than a Hummer SUV needs a commerical drivers license in my opinion. Rental box truck drivers are the worst.

I'm not saying it was the trucks fault by the way. Just throwing my words out there

 

Truck crashes into building. Of course it's the truck (driver) at fault.

 

Well hey we didnt hear the other side of the story. That building could have pulled out right infront of him. Just like the fence at the shipper I was at this morning
