I've been in the trucking industry for about three years (2 OTR and another working for a local construction company) and am interested to give food service a shot. I have delivered to many of their terminals as a refer driver, and see them working a lot in the mornings. I know the Seattle area has the usual selection: Sysco, U.S. foods, Foodservices of America, and Mclane (I hear they are good to work for, but it would be quite a commute).

My question is does anyone have any first hand experience working for any of the food service companies in Seattle. Pay, equipment, local routes vs. 3 days out regionally, and any other information that won't show up honestly on their career/HR pages. Thank you everyone.
