WIN_20160424_17_46_28_Pro.jpg WIN_20160424_17_47_07_Pro.jpg 2012. VNL670. I don't have a problem with the cable in the mirror. That's the easy part. I am wondering about the head liner. What's up there.

I forget how it goes after running it behind the plastic of the window column, but I do know in a pinch you can lay it through the cubbyholes (the dividers are very flimsy)

you need to check and see if YOUR truck has the multiplex box in it....
it's a volvo thing.... the tv, radio and cb all run to it (it's inside the dash under the radio)
most truck's the cd is the antenna on the drivers door BUT on volvo's they run the cb, radio and tv to both antenna's, thats why most cd shops can't set the swr.... they keep trying to set ONLY one antenna.... both need to be set to get it right
if you ever really look at the factory antenna's on a volvo you will see the winding of the wire changes 4 X as it goes up... 1 is for the tv 1 is for the radio 1 is for the cb and 1 is for your cell phone.... yes if your phone has a plug for a ext antenna you can hook it into the trucks antenna's

I just went thru this, couldn't get SWR to match so went with single antenna on drivers door, ran it thru the door, up the window column the thru the headliner ( you have to drop the headliner, curtain rod and such) to the back of the radio. If you want to be exact about factory and do both, be prepared as it's a nightmare. I just left the one antenna on the passenger side for the radio.

    TheDude1969 Thanks this.
