simple load light out? Headache!

    My thoughts exactly, power tester? pencil type with light inside and ground cable

    This is exactly what I think it must be, however I tried tracing the power and couldn't find another fuse. I know I blew something when I moved the lights.. Is there another location for the fuse to be? Anyone familiar with this trucks?

    I agree with you, but it was wired like that before and it worked. I still won't have power to the switch if I find the best ground from the chasid

    Just googled "peterbilt 384 work light wiring" looks like it's controlled by a cecu,you may have tripped a fault. Don't know how to reset it,haven't had the joy of a truck that new. Maybe try unhooking batteries for a few minutes.

    I googled it many times about in different ways but couldn't find it, I only found diagrams for the 587 not 384.. You mind sharing where you found that information please? Thanks for all the help

    Peterbilt heavy duty body builder manual,just gives the pin out,not a schematic. Some file share sites out there may have it.

    Did you test the fuse to see that it is good? On rare occasions a fuse will blow and still look good to the naked eye.

    Yup I even replaced it and checked it again with the tester, light still turns
