At 680 hrs in 2 months I pulled it off the truck today and brought it into my shop for a good going over .
I run rotella 5w40 syn in it that has been changed every 100 to 125 hours and when I pulled the valve cover to adjust the valves everything was spotless and the valves were within adjustment.
Spark plug showed some wear so I put in a new ngk.
Pulled the brushes out of the generator and they showed almost no wear compared to the new ones .
Starter solenoid was not kickin in at times so put a new one on that champion sent me free of charge along with brushes .
Cleaned it up good and she's going back on the truck .
Pretty good bang for the buck on this unit.
So far so good with my champion generater.

If you have a Champion always carry around some stranded 12V wire. I have had the jet plug up more than once on mine, and used a single strand to clean it with.

UsualSuspect Thanks this.

Did forget to mention tho that the stupid spark arrestor screen on the end of the muffler was partially plugged .
It now resides in a trash can . -
Not sure if you have this link or not, but it is all the Tech Bulletins issued for Champion Generators by the manufacturer. http://www.championpowerequipment.com/sales-service/tech-bulletins/

Is it quiet when you stand next to it running?
Are people parked next to you just as impressed as you are? -
