Or do I need to create a spreadsheet to track all of it?

Several options depending on what you want to track, how much you want to spend, and what platform you are working with, etc.

O dude, get a smartphone !! theres a ton of cool apps on there for tracking...run your own elog, expense tracking, theres so many its hard to pick one...

Click on 'playstore', type in "trucker apps" and they all come up...

For personal checkbook app, we use an app called MoneyWhiz.... We like it for what we use it for... Basic tracking of income and expenses in a checkbook style... It might be iOS only... Then Quickbooks has a monthly online service that would be a more robust accounting program but with mobile accessibility.

Be careful enough of some applications as they only track one side or the other (income/billing or expenses but not both) from what I have seem in my searches for the same thing you are looking for.

Dieselboss has a really nice spreadsheet. 28 a year as it's already dated.

All you need is a excel program to use. Openffice by google and libreoffice by linux I think. Both are free.

    Rick Brown Thanks this.

I have been pleased with truck n pro. I like the ability to run different profit loss reports etc. I use money ledgers to track ifta it is really simple to use. However I don't use the tax calculation just miles & gallons per each state.
Both have demo's that you can use to try before you buy.

    Rick Brown Thanks this.
