We used to a few on here, I was one. I get PM's from time to time about Schneider Bulk, I guess they find my old threads I don't know but I figured if I knew who the active tanker guys are I could send them over. All my info is out of date although I still recommend Schneider, especially for a rookie.

So did you van guys run them all off or what?

They go too slow for us Van teams....honestly the only shipper I have ever been to and seen Pumpkin Tubes is Unilever...Otherwise I have not seen them other than at Flying J

Yeah, us tanker yankers usually don't go where you guys go.

Lol the Mrs. And I talked about it...but honestly are there any bulk team positions anywhere? With these new automatics I don't see any real difference between driving. Not like with manuals when you gotta shift with the surge and stuff..

Shifting has very little to do with surge really. I drive an auto, no difference. There were some bulk teams when I was there but honestly, bulk isn't geared toward teams. Well, at Schneider anyway.

Schneider seems less and less geared towards teams in general. The only way we would ever even consider tanker is if it was dedicated. I know they pay way better than VTL but I dunno

They get paid better but they barely get any miles, that's why most of them jumped ship.

When I was hauling Frac sand I bumped into some of the Schneider guys with the bulk containers and they were some of the best trained and most disciplined drivers I've ever encountered on the job site

transition to Wf chased them off. it put a dent in business from what I heard. no current tanks post that I know of. at least in here.
