    How to start a strike.
    1. Start strike.
    2. Get fired and replaced immediately.
    3. Sit at home not getting paid.
    4. Reality sets in that no company will hire you on because of negative DAC report.
    5. Sob quietly to self.
    6. Go to work flipping burgers.

Look how many guys, owner operators no less just willingly hand over the keys to there $100,000 worth of equipment and then there drivers license as well to some miserable clerk and go wait in a cage while they unload because the shipper or receiver says so. Don't plan on anyone organizing anytime soon.

No need to strike. If everybody logged their hours exactly how they performed their job a lot of freight would be sitting waiting for a truck. Yes, a lot of drivers would see a cut in pay, but a with a strike you wouldn't be paid anything.

No, I don't believe it will happen but it would be effective.

I think when they require electronic logs for everyone at that time the rest of the economy will feel the effect.

I agree there will be an impact but I don't know if it will be felt much outside the "logistics" industry. I am not on electronic logs yet, but I would bet that many who are don't log all their time spent at docks, etc. Then it definitely would have an impact.

Yes the 60s are gone but a shutdown would work...even if say half of all drivers either shut down or stayed home....The disruption would get everyone's attention....even those not in the industry...

Don't be too sure.....many are getting more and more upset. Might just toss a page on Facebook just for kicks and see what kind of response we get
