    Can I ask why do I see that carriers aren't getting paid but don't take action against the bond? What does it take for the carrier to file with the surety company? If the surety drops the bond the broker is out of business or their premiums increase.

    That's what I'm would like to know also, I ran into so many owner ops complaining how they got burned by brokers for loads they ran and never get paid. I know guys that go after broker surety bond and got paid on loads the broker didn't want to pay for, I do think understand why everyone not doing it.

    As a broker I wouldn't want my bond to be messed with. I worked hard on getting that bond and without it I cannot operate. If that bond is pulled because of a claim, then I am out of business. Chances are the premium would skyrocket and cost me much more as I am now an identified risk.

    Can't because they screw around all year all of a sudden I see know they change name and the logistical one not in service...

    You should have filed on the bond as soon as payment became late. Don't wait around with them giving you excuses. That's what the bond is there for.
