Terrible experience overall. I am now being forced to pay 1500 dollars for 4 days of "schooling" by quality. You get contracted to an affiliate and they screw you with no work and low miles. The affiliate wants their money back they lock you in.

The Patriot and rabbiporkchop Thank this.

Not that I've researched them hut I don't recall hearing much bad about them. Hopefully we will get some more input.

QC used to be an O/O and team bulk hauler company. Loads to Canada and cross country. They must have scaled down and missing some of the big cotracts they had, Monsanto out of St. Louis was one.

It was hard to make decent money there when it was Chemical Leaman.......

I could see it being a disaster now.

Yeah really. What good much could come from the unholy alliance of Chemical Leaman and Montgomery. :)

Quality Carriers in Beaumont TX ...
It's about the same as described no freight and high dollar lease purchase Peterbilt trucks being turned in... I passed on offer myself because of the turnover rate. I'm a owner operator paid off truck and was told I'll be in the hole for sometime by the Terminal Manager...

    Toomanybikes Thanks this.

Leakin Leaman was bad enough but they didn't have as many 'affiliates'; that came from Montgomery. The CLTL fleet owners in NJ were all union drivers though the contracts started at a lower number than the former company operation in Jersey City that these guys replaced...

Some of Montgomery's affiliates were small marginal carriers that were accumulated into Montgomery...they didn't always have the best stuff but they had customers...

The combination of the two can't be any better than the sum of the original parts.

Could be worse, you could be forced to utilize Drive Axle.

    Majestic 670 Thanks this.
