With an air ride trailer when you set your trailer brakes it will dump the air in your air bags causing the rear of the trailer to lower and raise the front of the trailer.
When the front of the trailer goes up it shifts weight to the steers.
Do not set trailer brakes and you will remain level on a platform scale and get a true weight.

Robert kinkaw and 25(2)+2 Thank this.

    Tow 614 is correct !
Without going to far into the nightmare i just had , my steers were showing 13680 on a load that grossed under 75000 .
When i rescaled with the trailer brake released the steers showed 11, 840 and the gross remained the same .
BIG thanx ! is an understatement !

Has anyone put gauges on the airbags off your drives?
