Stryker 955 conversion help...
Hi guys...
Just received my Stryker 955 in the mail today and went to do the frequency conversion to 11 meters and noticed that the board in my unit is different than the one at CBTricks and at CBRadioMagizine. So I am not sure which component to remove. Surely don't want to pull the wrong one off the board.
I took some pics of the area that is simular to that on the two sites I mentioned above and posted them here http://jaxehost.com/radio3/
They are the same area but I thought that one of them may be more easily viewable to you.
Can someone help me identify the correct resistor to remove?
The board has it's own little arrow on it pointing to a resistor. I'm wondering if maybe that's a little help from the manufacturer?
I sure appreciate you guys and all the help you offer everyone.
Thank you,
John

In my (very humble) opinion you would be best off taking it to a reputable shop and having them do the conversion and alignment for the few dollars they may charge to be sure it's done right.
A quick image search tells me that yes, that arrow is a hint. But again, do not take my word as gospel.Ougigoug and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
Agree with Evvy.

Your receive needs to be tuned to 11 meters for best results.

Still 0lanning on getting my radio to someone who can check it out and do it right, though.
