want to know how you all feel about sun visors on exterior of truck. Do you think they're worth it? Do they really help in shielding sun? Also do they help shielding ran? I'm primarily interested in if they help shield rain when it's a really heavydownpour like sheets of rain. Thanks

A visor does help with sun and rain. Width and drop angle will play into that as well as what truck it's on and where the driver keeps the seat will play into the sun part as well

There is a difference between a drop visor and an extended visor. I would look at both and compare.

They'll keep the interior a bit darker during the day which also helps if you don't like to wear sunglasses all day
