Swift Academy Millington

Fewe, the school is at the Memphis terminal now. I was there a couple weeks ago and saw it. They have a nice big lot.

 

I drove past the terminal a few weeks ago and noticed that the nursery was gone and replaced by a range. I assumed that the classroom portion was relocated as well, but it is Swift so you never know...

 

When I was there we did the first day in a classroom there at the terminal. But that was just paperwork and physicals and stuff. They're probably just using that room the whole time now.

 

Depends really on what is open or if drivers are needed when you ask. Some will tell you 6 months, but I know of several new drivers that went right to dedicated fleets immediately off the mentor's truck.

 

The move to the terminal is complete. I believe they're using a holiday inn now. Hopefully there won't be any brown recluse spiders there. A guy in my Millington class got bit by one at the Admiralty and had to go to the hospital.

 

The one at Lancaster is only good for cleaning the windshield. It might knock off the loosest layer of dirt, but to call it a truck wash....dubious!

 

Driving thru a decent rain, does a MUCH Better job than the Lancaster terminal wash.

I went through it just the other day, it had been down for a few days. I figured for repair.

Gave it a whirl.... Had a spot of birdshit on windshield that it almost removed.
As for anything else.. Haha

I will never again waste the time.
