Just talked to a recruiter about the dedicated costco account over at swift in sumner. He makes it sound pretty decent and I'm just trying to find out what it's really like from a drivers perspective.

If I remember correct it is what they call the heavy haul division. You did not say if experienced or not. From what I understand, in the winter, hope that you like to chain up.

'He makes it sound pretty decent' is what they get paid to say, and where they make their money.
7seriestv Thanks this. -
Doesn't pay as much as otr. A lot of short hauls and a lot of sitting.

I did it for a short time, a year or so. You are limited to about 525 miles a day, but home every other day. Sat idle on a lot of Sundays though. Trailers are always loaded to the max. Please be aware that I am speaking of the Denver to SLC run. They will try to have you run a lot of Walmart short runs in between. Have ran many times the empty back to SLC, running I-80 empty is not a great idea. You will set because of the winds.
Just relaying my personal experience,

I'm not with Swift, but I call Aurora T/A my second home...there are 4 Swift Costco trucks here everyday. They run the night shift and park/live here south of Portland...they seem to like the work.
