see the thing is there are MANY companies that pay FAR better then swift with the same miles and nicer equipment. I moved on from swift and got 10 cpm pay boost.

Both thoes trailers are the same. They are swift refers and they are very few in number as they bought central instead of starting a refer division

Surely they must have expanded it by now after buying them out? Thanks for the correction. I like the chrome-ish trailer doors.

Swift is very cheap. They will use the central trailers until they rot away like the dry vans. Then they will patch them all half assed and run them some more

Eckoh, before you continue to bash Swift, you need to get your facts straight. Swift has reefer trailers. Look at Costco. The Central trailers still say Central on them. There is a reefer division out of Phoenix. Winco Foods. So why not just stay away until you want to post facts.

I'm glad all the bashing does not happen on road. Drivers tend to be friendly and helpful no matter what your driving. I got stuck having to blind side at a truck stop few weeks ago.... Two drivers stepped out to help spot... Not one negative word, just a "not bad, how long you been on your own?"

I guess the"##### me" look on my face was a give away that I was fresh out of training.

Swift equipment appears to be cleaner and fresher than most large companies.
From what you have seen lined up at the truck stops.

I start with Henderson Aug. 31. They won over Swift because
    • .38 cpm to start
    • Guaranteed 2100 miles paid, even if they didn't get you the miles
    • No driver facing camera
    • Inverters
Inverters was as important as the other points. I'm going to try and stay out for three months at a time, being able to have a couple of home appliances should help.

Cool! best of luck. Yeah I looked at that company but I am on the West coast. I'm still trying to decide between Swift and Schneider.

What's Swift's trucks like? and do they let you idle if it's humid out?
