My truck .. yes, I do the work.

But on the trailer, other than a license plate light, only because they're mostly the same and I carry spares. But, I'm even rethinking that after fighting with one for 30 minutes because some dick wad cut the plug wires too short.

The reason I don't is I did a quick repair on a mud flap. Was held on with bailing wire and about to fall off. Got a mud flap bolt kit at the TA, $4. Call on road for a PO to get reimbursed and was told, no. Had to get the PO first and they had to call the purchase into the TA.

So after that, screw 'em. Swift can pay the TA their labor rate for any work on their trailer and I get a $13 shower credit.

If it is under $20 you don't need a P.O. at all. Just scan the receipt (with trip number, truck, etc written on it) with the trip paperwork. Just label it truck supplies and get paid back no questions asked.

When I first leased my truck, like the second day in- headlight had burned out so I bought a new one about $16 bucks and scanned in the receipt for reimbursement. Remember the first 30 days of the used truck lease, Swift is responsible for all repairs and maintenance. Went round and round with payroll for months on that til I just gave up and ate the $16 bucks.

yu do not get KWs but you get trucks with APUs and inverters as well as pet policy. Basically everything swift says you cannot have in their trucks you can have in the others. Giving up a KW for a Freightshaker is not exatly a massive loss.
