Taking another swing at it

Held up at my shipper for 5 hours. After I left, the weather turned to poo. So I took it upon myself to just park it rather than go through Louiseville during rush hour with possible slick roads and a very light load

 

I take a light load down to Ohio in the wee hours, then I get my load home. I need the time away.

 

So my "light load" is scrap aluminum . My appt time was 2pm.
They stop receiving at 2pm.
It's crap like this that pushes me to creep towards walking away.
This effs up my home time too.

I'd like to know who booked this load and who said to make the appt time 2pm.
I called last night and told them I couldn't make it in on time, so they said "take your ten, and leave early morning, you'll be there by 2.
$5 into the BS pot please. They closed at 2pm. So, I'm in line for 6am
Which means I'm screwed on my lab and doc appt. which means I can't get my platelet meds.

Why does this always happen when I need to go home?

 

It's amazing how people will dig up old threads from years ago just to troll it with those 2 cents.

I'm glad I made it home, although it's a bit cold. Dropping to -18 last night . Good thing I left her idling.

 

Trying to head off another gout flare with tart cherry juice.
Spending the night with my wife at a nice hotel with a casino package . I just won $100. Now I'm getting into a hot tub to rest my weary bones from being old .

 

Another day, another blood lab. Might have to wait to go out
