I don't "plan" to stop. It's just really tempting to give up. If I give up, what does that prove? That I should have stayed company?
No, I think not. I just have to renew my resolve and bully forward. It's 4 months . I can bare it for four months.

 

Election cycles should be limited to 100 days. After 18months, I'm sick of this and just want it to be over. Regardless of who wins, we adapt and overcome, as humans do

 

Fought off a cold over last weekend. Like a silly goose I took Monday off at home too. Now I'm playing catch up on my miles.
I'm out until the 11th, since they didn't get me home in time for my doc appt I had to reschedule for them.
After that I'm hosting my annual turkey feast gathering. I slimmed down the invitation list to make it less of a hassle. Still asked to do a deep fried turkey, so I guess there is that. I have a feeling that this winter is going to be snowier than last. Probably colder too. Not polar vortex cold, but colder still.

I'm off to bed as I head back to MI from atl.

 

Finally had a good week last week. Loading up for Michigan from Minnesota now. Home by Friday noon for doc appts and prepping for my annual turkey dinner!

 

Even the vending machine in the lumper break room is a ripoff

 

Fought with dispatch on a load out to MN when I needed to be home Friday. I told them I really can't trust their word they can get me back on time since the last 2 times I got burned.
So I sat a day while they threw a tantrum and ran a couple of short hauls to make up for it. Now I'm headed home to turkey it up.

 

My annual dinner turned out great. However with every good thing there is a trade off.
I did not want to go back out today, as my wife just broke out in shingles.
What's more, no empties available so I can't load my outbound until morning.
