    They did refill my brake fluid and blinker fluid as well as gave me a screw stretcher since the one loose in my head is too short.

    Pretty much nowadays whether it's a big truck or a car you're doing nothing but driving a rolling computer and they can be absolute the biggest headaches ever known to man

    Even with a computer a diesel engine is still simple like I used to explain to the new kids coming into my maintenance section all it takes is a whole bunch of compression a correctly timed squirt of fuel and a way to get rid of the smoke which one don't you have or better yet suck squeeze bang blow

    That's true too, but they had college degrees to back them up, all we had was wrenches and bullets

    Just be glad Microsoft didn't write the computer software. Can you imagine how many times they would crash? But the nice part is, all you would have to do is restart the car to fix most of the problems.

    That's what I do when my truck throws codes. Shut down for 1 minute, 80% of the time they disappear. 13% it takes overnight, the remaining 5% The tech will plug in the laptop, slide underneath on the creeper and take a 30 minute nap, then clear that codes. The last 2% the shop changes a couple parts, then clears the code.
