I was just wondering if there any Mercer drivers from Texas here? I just signed on with Mercer but I'm having a lot of trouble finding flatbed freight down south with Mercer. Makes it hard to get home to Texas. Can anyone with experience with Mercer tell me if I'm going to have trouble making a living with them? Let me know what you think.

Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi and Alabama are loaded with flatbed freight but I do not see it on the Mercer load board. Very surprising to me. I figured Mercer would have lots a freight down south but I do not see it.

Within 300 miles of spring dale AR I count 14 loads. Going to TX and that's on the weekend so there is more then that.

Dude i don't know what board you are looking at, but on the mercer contractor load board there is literally several dozen loads going to Texas.

When at orientation did you get signed up with a password to access the load board?

Yes I am on the contractor.net load board with the password. I know there are some loads going to Texas from the four state areas. I'm stuck in Virginia right now. I'm hoping I find something going west tomorrow. I sat all day Thursday and Friday and couldn't find anything out of Louisville going towards Texas. Ended up going east instead.

I will give you an example. I just checked a hundred mile radius of Birmingham Alabama for flatbed loads. There is only one load. On the private load boards there are hundreds of loads. I should be seeing many many loads out of that area going everywhere.
