The roads aren't THAT bad. Much better in the cold months tho. Packed snow makes for a smooth ride.

    tsavory and Dominick253 Thank this.

Overall the road is not to bad. It is pretty much all chip seal with lots of flying rocks. The Cassiar around Dease Lake is falling apart right now and the pavement is breaking up real bad in sections. It feels like driving on a sponge.
The Yukon is doing a lot of work on the Alaska Highway, but it is rough from Destruction Bay to Beaver Creek. They are grading some of the gravel stretches, but pot holes and wash board are pretty rough.

In Alaska the Tok Cutoff from Tok to Glennallen has some really bad sections as well. Looks like weight restrictions might be coming off here too.
If you take pride in your equipment you might not want to go up there, because it will take the life out of it quickly. My Western Star is covered in rock chips. It has dents in the grill surround, air cleaners, a-pillar and sleeper. The back off the sleeper looks like it has been shot with a shotgun and that is with half fenders and extra mud flaps every where.

This nice pleasant easy decent paying load . . .

Went to a tricky little "Should I even be here?" place.

A few plants and trees were damaged in the making of this post. Expletives exclaimed by the author do not express the sentiments of, nor represent the commentary of TTR.

Question , I'm trying to purchase a 2017 Volvo ( cause I heard they're good on fuel, and thinking to go reefer cause I live I. Tx and seems that pays good , but I'm also want to get my own reefer ( not at the same time ) is it better to get lay by mile or percentage cause I would assume percentage but I'm still doing homework so.. And also what company y'all suggest to as a o/o?

I hate MO for this. I just had a roadside level2 last week on US36/US63. Nicest HP officer I ever met. I had a clean inspection.
