Dean Foods. Richmond, VA. Takes anywhere from 6-10 hours to load 6 pallets of buttermilk that s already prestaged.

Sanderson Farms: Luarel, MS arrived 3pm for what was supposed to be loaded as soon I got there. Finally at 10pm get a dock for 6 pallets, and 3 30am finally loaded.

Sanderson Farms: Waco, TX arrived on a Friday at 10 30am for a 12pm appt. Finally loaded and left at 6:30 Saturday morning.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but the Nestle/Poland Spring water plant in Hollis, ME. Total disaster. Avg wait for a door is 7+ hrs, people are total dbags. Loads are heavy and they refuse to allow outside carriers use of their on site scale. Nearest cat scale is a good 50 miles away in Portsmouth. Only ones getting in and out in a reasonable time are Walmart drivers because they are charging them an astronomical detention rate after 2hrs.

Nearly every Coca-Cola load i've done has been a waiting game. Worst was at the St. Charles, IL bottler, 8hrs. Some guys were there 10+. And, because they layout is terrible, the only place to park is on the street which drew the attention of local law enforcement hoping for an easy payday. Coke did at least put a stop to that. The one in Cicero is also very slow (6+ hrs to unload 2 trucks...). Philadelphia was a bit better (3-4hrs) although the guard tried to screw me on my in time and mark I was late. Northampton, MA is the best one I've been to, loaded in under 2hrs.

Aldi's tend to be hit or miss. I've been in and out in less than 2hrs with floor loaded potato chips (Batavia, IL), and stuck there 8+ hrs with a palletized load (Dwight, IL). Depends on the mood of the lumpers that day I guess.

My last C&S load unloaded about 80 miles from home. Took them so long I couldn't get home legally til the next day. I had arrived there with nearly 7 hours on my clock. Never again will I go to a Chicken and S....
