Every truck stop I've ever inquired at has had a box by the fuel desk where outgoing mail would be kept for the mail carrier to pick up when he dropped off the truck stop's inbound mail. Granted, it isn't as "secure" as a blue box...but it worked every time I ever needed it.

Mailed a sympathy card to a friend whose father died while I was in Atlanta. Still not delivered. I put it in the USPO box at the truckstop December 1999.

Who cares whether they put them in again.

They used to be there, but USPS removed them several years ago.
