It is a real truck. I worked with several guys that had Marmons. That is probably one of the last ones, don't remember what year the went out.
I know where one is in rough shape for 10k

My old boss had a similar one, but his had windows across the top of the sleeper. Never drove that one, but drove another Marmon he had, it was a pieced o' krap!

Marmon closed up in '97, they were based in Denton, TX. They were close to being the ugliest trucks on the road but were beaten out by Brockway....lol

I met an old timer in a Marmon in Fargo, he had a McCall (parrot) named Chauncey. I hope they're still around...,

Says it's a 400, but given the year and the ATTAAC I would have bet it was a 425. Judging by the looks of how well it has been kept up the owner most likely knows the HP though.

Cool. One of them "Morman" trucks. I drove a '84 Marmon like this for a short time ( only smaller sleeper) and it was a really cool truck. ( except for the straight pipes) The CB was alive with comments. " Look Fred, there's one of them Morman trucks", they'd say. It was every bit as classy as a KW or Pete. Had a neat dash too. Definitely a "left lane" truck. Sadly, after I quit, the guys son rolled it and it ran upside down for a spell, ruining the motor, as well. At least I can say, I drove one just like this, same color and everything.( that's not me or the boss) Matter of fact, I saw Marmon's where someone switched the "A" with the "O". If I was ever to buy another truck, ( did heck freeze over yet?) this would be it, and it's a super deal
