If you are in NC, check into their Community College system... I believe a few of them have CDL Programs.

    Redd336 and Xeres63 Thank this.

The truth is they are going to teach you just enough to pass the state tests. Its VERY expensive and NOT worth the money. I went there and since I've been driving I've talked with several people (also) from here in North Carolina that went to the community college (s) and they had a lot more training and better training....such as trip plannning, driver logs and etc. The best thing is that the community colleges are at least 10 times cheaper than Roadmasters.

Agreed... I went through a Sage School, in Florida, that was much more expensive than the local college here in NC. My wife was checking into the local CCC & TI (Caldwell Community College and Technical Institure between Hickory and Lenoir) and they were 1/3 the price I paid and a MUCH longer program too.

And from driving by, they have much better equipment than the school I attended too.

I think the program has to be state sponsored in some way to have that low of a price and so many big trucks out front too.

    SHOP AROUND!!!

    Xeres63 Thanks this.

Sage was very very "Pro Warner" as well... They never come out and say it but every "positive example" used Warner by name... Must have been the best place to work ever... Even if none of the instructors ever actually there... LOL
