Seeking some answers to several questions about TMC over the road flatbed trucking from current or previously employed truckers. Personal experience is 1.5yrs over the road with Epes Transport and 1.5yrs local driving with Pepsi.
*What is an average pay check weekly?
*How good are the benefits (medical, etc)?
*I've heard you have to sign a contract and if you leave before that contract is up they penalize you. Is this correct?
*Is orientation paid and how much?
*What is your average mileage a week? Usually ran about 2600-2800miles with Epes
*Are the fleet managers easy to work with, getting you loads quickly and getting you home? Currently married with three small children
*What is average home time?
*Located in East Tennessee is it easy to get loads home?
*How long does it take to get benefits?
These are just some of the questions needing answered any input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

Call Recruiting and ask. It's not about the miles here, it's about the revenue. You would go to orient and securement training and maybe ride a couple weeks with a trainer. A lot of freight out of your area, the benefits not sure of .
