(the evaporator fan is the big one under the bunk - it is used for both the a/c and just “fan” mode - it is the one that actually blows the air out into the sleeper area)
tripac engine runs fine and charges batteries fine. a/c won’t come on because evaporator fan won’t come on, either in “a/c” mode or just plain “fan” mode.
also i tried the espar bunk heater - it runs fine. checked tripac fuses and tripac fuses seem ok - i pulled them all out and looked at them, however i know that sometimes a fuse can blow and still look ok
i did not check any cascadia fuses - i'm assuming all fuses related to this are tripac fuses under bunk?
i did some wire-jiggling but maybe there are specific wires i need to jiggle that i don’t already know about
oh yeah - no codes or anything. readout/display all seems normal and unit was blowing freezing cold air all last night
I've heard when these fans break down they usually make some noise and give you a little warning, or at least make a little noise after they break....this one suddenly just wouldn't start or make any noise whatsoever. although it's almost 7 years old so who knows....maybe it's just bad ... thanks!
2009 cascadia, tripac is old-style 2008 model or so
UPDATE - 08-25-2016 HEY IT JUST NEEDED A NEW BLOWER FAN
tripac evaporator fan won’t run
