Curious to see how or if Ups will change the way Coyote operates.

UPS Freight will be loaded up on a lot of wasted empty miles they've been running so that cuts some freight off the open market. Other than that it's still a brokerage and will do what brokerages do. Business as usual.

True RC and I offer this: Brown got his arse handed to him last year in the xmas rush. He just couldn't cover it and this is where he makes most of his profits. He's not going to let this happen again. ( U can hear FedEx snickering in the background ) He intends to use the Coyote network to cover this base which will also cut his overtime costs. ( win win ) ( Big article in bus. journal )

My point is Brown is the best at what he does and he knows how to do it very well. He will not tolerate any SOP carrier games from Coyote or their players. Trailers will be high and tight and loads will be on time, every time.

Paying "living wages" would run all the producers off and attract unproductive leaches pretty much destroying what they built up.
