    Anyone actually read the message? Hubby is on the road, can't check his email, when I try to check it for him through the portal I get error messages.

    We got a video (actually a page layout) today on the QC about Congress planning to require all states to allow 33' double trailers on all roads and highways.

    Swift does not want this to happen.

    I suspect the urgent e-mail pertains to that, but I haven't got on to check it.
    That is an account I usually ignore.

    It's mentioned in there that this would effectively end single 53' trailers in favour of double 33's.
    But I don't get this.
    It doesn't require that every truck haul them, as far as I know. It just means that all states would allow them.
    If Swift doesn't like the idea, I assume they could simply keep things as they are with the 53 foot trailers if they so choose.
