I cannot find any info online about this restriction, it looks like a good road to and from Joplin.
Anyone know what the restriction is ?
Thanks

Should be in the Truckers' Atlas.
Not National Network perhaps? -
Where are you getting this info from?
Found this that may be the issue. One lane road (resurfacing project), 14' limit, flagger controlled

It is in the atlas but when you look at Google maps I cannot see any bridge, weight restriction
I could not find anything online but may have missed it
Was hoping someone with local knowledge can shed some light on this -
Only been that way a few times and get routed Chetopa to Welch OK to Miami then turnpike to Joplin
I am just curious what the restriction is as it would be easier to run 166 to Joplin -
I seem to remember a bridge weight restriction somewhere in that neighborhood some few years ago, or maybe they were redoing a bridge and had a detour in place, something. There are route options. I'd proceed like you prefer to go, and if there are no signage indicating truck restrictions, then proceed, or detour accordingly.

I live in southeast ks, all I can find is a restriction of 40,000 lbs just west of Melrose. I don't remember ever seeing them. Where you trying to get to.

I delivered to Arkansas City on Monday
was curious about restriction and if it was still ongoing -
I live in that area, acouple years ago they were redoing a bridge and had a detour that I think had some weight restrictions. I do believe like darracq said that there is a 40k limit west of Melrose though.
