I like my TDI VW's. They can only improve international hopefully. VW has been trying to get me to bring my cars in so they can work on emissions. Won't do it. I took all of it off

Part off the deal is for Volkswagen to supply engines from the 2 brands Volkswagen allready owns.
So that would a a International with a Scania or MAN engine.
I wonder how the clients will react to this?

    Volkswagen owns MAN and Scania.
Volkswagen has 17% or 19% off Navistar stock(reports vary)
Navistar has now a deal to buy engines from VW.
North America is the only market where VW has no truckbrand or dealerships for trucks.
Looks like the first steps in a eventual take over.

Good thing. 2 companies who ran afoul of US emission regulations are getting together. Not quite as bad as when Studebaker and Packard merged in 1954, which was characterized at the time as "2 drunks trying to hold each other up". But close.

Anything is better that what international has now. It definately can't be any worse than what they have. Scania engines are no joke they have some pretty serious power in europe.
