Volvo FH16 Exhaust modification

Hi,

I have a 2011 FH16 and i'm looking to move the exhaust muffler due to space restriction for my new body.

Options.
-Modify existing muffler. Smaller in size and closer to RHS of cab.
-Remove RHS fuel tank and add silencer and reroute exhaust.

Does anyone have any experience in modifying volvo exhaust systems and sensor issues I might run into.

I have a engineering shop and can make up brackets, tube bending etc.
