I was in Michigan on Sat and stopped in at a Lowes in Dexter. I need extra keys for my 2005 780 didn't think I'd have any luck but surprise. Key blank 19r1 , Chrysler , works. Had 3 cut for 2.19 each better than the 19 the dealer wanted in Ayr. Hope this helps.

Been doing this for years. The 19Rx (second number indicates key length, 19R2 is longer but will work as well as a 19R1) blank is available just about anywhere so Walmart and any other hardware or auto parts store will do these for you... even if they don't know they can. That blank by the way can be used to cut keys for Volvo, International and Freightliner trucks. I've worked at a place that cut keys in the past and driven all of the aforementioned trucks without dropping a ton of money at a dealership to cut a key Walmart will charge me 1.49 for.
