Hello everyone,
Anyone knows a good place to get rods and mains done on a VNL D16 engine? I have tried to get a quote from several Volvo shops to include Tri-state in Little Rock, they all say we will email you a quote but it's been over a month and nothing. They did tell me there aren't too many D16 engines around and so they don't often do them. I'm beginning to think maybe they just don't want to fool with it. Anyway any info will be highly appreciated. Thanks and be safe out there!

The only place i would have it done is the dealer take it from someone that has done it before it's a pain in the ### nothing with that engine is easy. I can get you an idea as far as parts and labor goes so you have kind of a ballpark idea i would just need last 6 of your vin.

Whats the average price of one of these "kits" I've got an 08 D16 with 865,000 miles on it.. It only gets driven 3000-4000 miles a year at best. and I do a yearly oil change no matter the miles.
Thanks
last 6 are 264812 -
my cost about 1150 For all parts including bearing thrust washer Gasket and Misc Oil O rings, No Oil pump figure another 1000 to 1500 for labor on cheap side for a total
