    Because proportionally speaking, Swift has a record of safety that is above the national average. Schneider has almost as many fatal accidents over the same period and 1/3 as many drivers. Not to mention, your metric shouldn't simply be that there was a fatal accident, but who was actually at fault. The more trucks you have on the road, the higher likelihood of being involved in an accident, fatal or otherwise. That's just reality.
