I'm wanting to upgrade from running a 2 car gooseneck to a wedge or 4 car but all the dealers saying I cant run it due to having a mega cab short bed truck. Looking to see if any can help me out. Don't want to buy a trailer if its going to be more trouble then its worth.

If you run flip outs on the top of the deck, you won't have enough clearance when turning. It'll be very tight and too close for comfort. If you Google mega cab and wedge or mega cab car hauler (something like this) there is a thread on Cummins forum or something with pictures of a guy that had a mega cab and wedge

I ran this truck with a gooseneck extension for a 44ft feather light
I have attached a pic showing same set up with wedge trailerAttached Files:

I wasn't going to run flip outs. I was looking at the double deck kaufman trailer.

Get an ⚓ to throw out when you need to stop
rabbiporkchop and sxdime Thank this. -
As long as you have room to turn you will be fine.
A trailer like a Kaufman easy loader 4 double deck has no overhang at all and should be no problem.
I pulled mine back and forth from ny to fl with no problems at all but my dodge had an 8 ft.box.
I am selling the easy loader now because I am no longer running it or the dodge as I have moved up to a single axel and a 6/7 car trailer. -

OP what you need is a trailer that has the kingpin all the way at the front of the trailer. And even after that you still may need to have the 2 front corners of the trailer notched to give more clearance.
Or you could just go with a semi lolHulld Thanks this. -
I never damaged mine just showing it can be done.....
