I am struggling to figure this one out. First off the truck is an 07 vt880
The other day one of my headlights went out. Drivers side low beam. So I changed both bulbs and put in silverstars. Worked great for a couple days. Then yesterday the drivers side went out. Checked everything and it started working again. Then the passenger bulb went out. Changed the bulb and nothing. This morning I was driving and it started working again. I checked the wiring. Seems to be fine. Any ideas?

You either have a break in the wiring, bad ground, bad bulb socket, corroded wire or all of the above.
I would start tracing the wires from the headlights back and check their condition.
I believe your truck has a LCM (Light Control Module, it could be on it way out. -
My bet would be on bad bulb sockets

most likely headlight harneses are getting burned out but probably wiring issue somewhere
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
check and make sure all of your LCM fuses are good
-
If the lcm fuses are gone it will show up as a fault
In the display
Check the maine connectors between hedlight and frame (big gray one) for broken cables
Check connectors direct at the bulb for overheating -
There should be 6 light control module fuses. Make sure they are the exact amps listed on the label. Had a driver swap fuses and he put the wrong one in and the fog lights would go on and off randomly every few minutes. It did not show a fault on the display.

As it turned out it was some funky wiring. Not broken wires, but a farmer wiring job to put on driving lights. Finally something touched and there it was
