Well, looks like I'm going OTR in a day cab.

    My truck is sick ( A Trimac truck that's sick!!, you don't say!!) No mechanics till Monday (Trimac having mechanics on the weekend! Preposterous sir!!) Load picks up Sunday night at 2300 so they are wanting me to get a day cab and run a load from the Bay Area to Denver. Hotel rooms paid for by them of course. I really don't want to do this. I hate not having my truck with all my things. I hate hotels. I always forget things when I move trucks temporarily and it will be a 4 day turn. Does anyone have an app or something so I can find hotels with truck parking?

    Oh well, duty calls and all.

    I think the MyDat trucking app could help. At least it tells you where to park near a hotel.

    Every time I've had to deal with daycabbin' it the only way to work it out was time consuming...google satellite view and phone calls to verify. IF there is an app for it I haven't seen it. It sucks but it's better than a slab of plywood across the seats.

    The trucker path app has hotel listing too. I had use it before to find hotels for students

    We have an account with Best Western. Every one I've been to has had truck parking. I understand the struggle, hate it myself.

    So do you think you're starting to get hooked on the way we live now? There's more to know and you have to be on your game plan more but some of us like it that way.

    I assume you do not have clc card. I run clc and have an app for that.

    Most motels close to truck stops have enough space for truck parking. I also use google maps to see what the parking situation looks like.
