That's a lot of bugs. I ran into a swarm of bees one time in Arizona that covered my windshield so bad I couldn't see but I don't think they were that bad.

Painted toes covered in bugs and all she has to say is 'oh my God' that's a good 'ol midwest gal for ya.... them prissy city women would've been screaming loud enough to shatter the glass.

I'll certainly agree with that. Bugs have strength in speed and numbers. Encounters with snakes on the other hand tend to be one-on-one encounters, not to mention their being large enough to be shot if need be.
