I was wondering if anyone knows anything about werners dedicated routes? Pay, hometime, age requirement, and if they hire drivers straight from trucking school for dedicated? Thanks.

Used to be that werner and jb hunt had a dedicated run for every new driver.

Unfortunately that job would be filled 1 day before you get your truck ????

werner does a lot of Dollar Gen, they don't pay anyone enough to do those.

When I was on their Walmart dedicated out of Tomah Wisconsin....got paid 32 cpm...not bad for a rookie out of school. I got lucky and trained on the account.....UNFORTUNATELY...they seemed to send every new driver to that account after they passed their training, so miles were real slim. Personally I wouldn't do the Dollar Generals just because of the nightmares you have to get your rig into.
