What is the best radio on the market today?

    Based on things he's said in the past, I'm guessing 42 and 38. The load itself is probably about an inch or so, for 81" overall.

    The shaft and whip are the same length. I tuned the coil to match it. 81" overall length

    I might play with mine some more......."tuned the coil".....explain please.

    I remove one coil at a time until resonance is achieved.

    A friend of mine just started making a bracket to mount to the top of the doors on volvo 660's and Cascadias as well as a couple other trucks.

    How are you resealing coil? It appears to be something along the lines of a Wilson coil. I've never looked real close to see how they come apart. I do like the height you have been able to achieve.

    90 Watts on a 955 must of been hacked there only supposed to swing 60/70 watts pep

    That's a nice mount you have there, and your Antenna is up nice and high keeps thieves at bay
