Thank you, but I hate to say I had to pass it up and decided to go regional with J. Grady Randolph hauling oversize, they're based out of Gafney SC and thus far have got me home every Friday and out Monday morning or if I'm itching for some more money I'll head out late Sunday, while I did enjoy my time at USX I must say the grass has actually been greener over here. Because your recruiter is being paid to just get your ### in the seat for orientation. And often just because recruiter cleared you doesn't mean safety will when your actual record is placed in front of them during orientation.

That is why they call it a prehire, or a conditional offer of employment. It is conditional on the basis that you pass/clear all of their background checks and company policies.

Not trying to discourage you, just explaining how our industry works at the mega company level.

Just about every company will hire a felon if a certain amount of time has passed. I know several felons that drive for megas

 

Anything over 28 days you have to rehire

 

I might try this summer
to take 20 days off at a time , will let you guys know how it works out

 

In my past experience with them and this was more than a few years back...they were flexible and if you talk to them you can even work part time which usually means work four days a week and home three...which I did.
